In a whirlwind trip we ferried over on a Friday night and visited three amazing places before ferrying back into Melbourne on Wednesday morning. We packed so much in the three days it was incredible to see how much of Tasmania you could sample in such a short time. We will be back (again) to spend more time at these incredible places:
Bay of Fires – On the first day we arrived in Devonport and drove straight to Bay of Fires, a measly 2 hours away. We set up camp at Jeanneret Bay and spent the rest of the day exploring the beaches. We drove from Bingalong Bay, north towards The Gardens to view the famous orange colours rocks against the bright blue water. We then drove even further for sunset at Eddystone Point in Mount William National Park. When we arrived back at camp, we all went down to the beach for some light painting before bed.
Stayed: Jeanneret Bay (Free camp site at Bay of Fires National Park).
Coffeed: The Bays Kitchen in St Helens.
