I had organised a dinner (oh how nice!) on a ledge (go on..) over a 100 metres off the ground (ummm…) on the side of a cliff (nope).
And the truth is, we did.
The hardest part of the whole experience was scrambling back up the cliff to flat ground. I didn’t realise we would be doing this when I signed us up and it probably didn’t help that I was screaming ‘I’m gonna die’ whilst struggling up the 3 metre slope. In the end we got there and for all of Phil’s strength and calmness during the experience, I know he was a little bit scared too.
So even though we joke that he was let down (literally) on his birthday, we had an amazing time in the mountains and victoria’s beautiful high country.
